Teri Hatcher

Teri HatcherTeri Hatcher was born Teri Lynn Hatcher on the 8th of December 1964, in Palo Alto California. Her mother Esther was an engineer at Lockheed Martin computer programmer, and her father Owen was an electrical engineer, nuclear physicist, and she was educated by Esther. Teri trained in ballet at the San Juan School of Dance and was raised in Sunnyvale, California. Fremont High School was where she was the Featherettes dance captain, and was presented with the "Most Likely To Be a Solid Gold Dancer" award. Hatcher was a graduate of maths and engineering at De Anza College after which she also pursued acting studies at the San Francisco's American Conservatory Theater. Teri confessed that her uncle Richard Hayes Stone had sexually assaulted her starting at the age of 5. She also helped Santa Clara County prosecutors in their case against Stone following the 14-year-old victim of Stone's took her own life. Stone was sentenced to prison for four counts of molestation. He died from colon cancer while in prison.
